Welcome to the first event of the year!!  The Super Scramble is on….

 

As everyone is aware, with the covid-19 restrictions have been eased and we are able to have a shotgun start to accommodate the amount 

of players signed up. We are not promoting any type of awards presentation after this event nor are we hosting any type of gathering while finalizing the results. 

 

We appreciate everyone being mindful of the social distancing directive as we have 128 players signed up for this weekend and need everyone's cooperation to make this successful without any interruptions.  The following information is provided regarding the player registration, practice range, practice facilities, pro shop availability, and scoring of event.

 

 

Regarding the Driving Range:            We have 13 stalls with 3 more put in front of the instruction building

                                                                Front 9 tee assignments will have the hitting stalls from 7:30 – 8:15am

                                                                Back 9 tee assignments will have the hitting stalls from 8:15 – 9am

                                                                Those players not on the Driving Range will have access to the practice putting/chipping green

                                                                We will have a staff member at the range to help facilitate stall use as well as social distancing

 

Regarding Collection of Fees:            All entry fees for players will be charged to the respective member accounts.

                                                                Members bringing guests will have to collect their entries/cart fees from their invited guests

                                                                The Pro Shop will be open – limited to 4 customers at a time

 

The Registration Area:                         The registration table will be in front of the golf shop by the Clock

                                                                Only one player from the team needs to check in for the paper scorecard, rules sheet, KP tape

                                                                The Paper Scorecard will have the GGID as well as it is posted on the Golf Genius app pairings

 

Regarding Rental Carts:                   For those players that have reserved rental carts – the carts will have your names on them and the key

     will be at the player registration desk for you to pick up.  If you have not reserved a rental cart, please respond here and we          will make sure to have one ready for you.

 

Food and Beverage:                             The Lounge will be open at 7:30am for pregame warm-ups:  $6 Burrito Special & $6 Bloody Mary’s

                                                                The Pro Shop will have a coffee, tea, hot chocolate station as well as the beer/soda in cooler

                                                                The Chayan Seattle Coffee Trailer will be at the Driving Range – Member Charging available

                                                                The “Tailgate” food is from 11-1pm between #18 green & #1 tee for pick up between 9’s

 

Turning in Scorecards:                        Golf Genius will be used for scoring except for the special events.  You will need to turn in your KP

                  results, “Hit the Green” and “Inside the Goal Post” results, along with your tape measurers to the scoring

                  table located on the lounge deck.

 

Face Masks Required:                         Face Masks will be required while inside the Pro Shop and Clubhouse

                                                                Face Masks will be required outside if you are not able to social distance within 6 feet

 

"Pace of Play":                                We have 32 Teams with 2 groups on every hole but 4 holes.  We need everyone to be mindful and keep pace during this

                                                                event - groups falling behind will be warned and (hopefully not) accessed a penalty if they can't keep up with the group in

                                                                front.  Our projected “Pace of Play” for this event is 4 ½ hrs so everyone can go enjoy the rest of their day.

 

 

We are looking forward to a fun & exciting start to our 2021 season - Thank you in advance for your support and understanding of the protocols that we have put in place to ensure that we are staying within the guidelines to host this shotgun start.
